RGBLab Co., Ltd., led by CEO Alex Kim, introduced its cutting-edge autonomous mobility control platform, Arion, at the Future Innovation Tech Expo 2024 (FIX 2024) in Daegu. This international event, held from October 23 to 26, provided RGBLab with a platform to showcase Arion’s capabilities to industry experts, media, and investors, positioning the company as a pioneer in the next generation of autonomous vehicle technology.
Arion: AI-Powered Control for Autonomous Mobility
RGBLab’s Arion IMC (Intelligent Mission Computer) integrates advanced AI capabilities designed for autonomous vehicles and robotics. Arion’s platform enables real-time control and monitoring of multiple unmanned systems, all while processing complex data directly on the device. This proprietary system combines mission-critical features, making it ideal for sectors requiring high operational reliability and scalability. Arion’s unveiling at FIX 2024 attracted notable interest from stakeholders in the fields of autonomous driving, drone technology, and robotics.
Strategic Expansion into Logistics and Urban Air Mobility
Beyond autonomous vehicles, RGBLab plans to expand Arion’s application to include logistics and Urban Air Mobility (UAM) markets. These sectors, especially UAM, are experiencing rapid growth, and RGBLab aims to provide comprehensive control solutions tailored to advanced air vehicles (AAVs) weighing up to 45 kg. Alex Kim emphasized the platform’s adaptability to various industry demands, stating, “Arion is already implemented by companies seeking autonomous solutions for complex operations. FIX 2024 has provided us with an ideal platform to demonstrate our capabilities and build connections across diverse industries.”
Proven Capabilities with Real-World Impact
RGBLab has already proven Arion’s robustness through its award-winning performance at South Korea’s Drone Bot Challenge organized by the Ministry of Defense. By winning the competition in the “Technical Challenge” category, RGBLab became the first to supply Arion to the South Korean Army. This platform has since extended its reach to other critical sectors, such as public safety and medical logistics. For example, Arion has been deployed to deliver essential medical supplies to remote areas and serves as a road monitoring system in isolated regions, such as Uljin-gun.
FIX 2024: Showcasing the Future of Mobility, Robotics, and AI
The FIX 2024 Expo featured an array of specialized exhibitions, conferences, and business programs focused on mobility, robotics, AI, and startups. Held in the EXCO East Wing, the Daegu International Future Auto & Mobility Expo 2024 spotlighted trends in UAM, autonomous driving, battery technology, and other key mobility innovations. Concurrently, the ICT Convergence Expo Korea hosted in the West Wing presented advancements in AI, big data, blockchain, and metaverse technologies, while the Daegu Robot Expo displayed industrial and humanoid robots alongside solutions for digital transformation in the robotics sector. The newly launched Start-up Arena facilitated networking opportunities between startups and renowned accelerators such as Samsung C-Lab and Plug and Play.
By introducing Arion at FIX 2024, RGBLab has demonstrated a versatile and robust solution for autonomous operations across multiple sectors, establishing itself as a forward-thinking player in the global market for autonomous technology.
