Meanwhile, Huawei Cloud is set to accelerate the deployment of Web 3.0 applications, thereby speeding up Hong Kong’s technological advancement, a sentiment echoed by HKUST Vice President Mr. Wang.

To tackle the technical challenges inherent to the emerging Web 3.0 industry, Huawei Cloud is leveraging on its expertise in ICT. The vision is to overcome the prevalent issues with on-chain transactions, notably slow performance and inadequate security measures. Huawei Cloud’s innovation in software and hardware addresses such obstacles. For instance, the company’s Ethereum staking node hosting service is specifically designed to heighten the efficiency of the staking validators, delivering increased security guarantees through its proprietary QingTian Enclave security framework.

Huawei Cloud aims to develop a localized Web 3.0 industry cloud in collaboration with industrial parks, universities, and research institutes.
