The improved Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity platform provides enhanced protection for both critical infrastructure and OT equipment against cyber-threats. Its unique components include KICS for Nodes designed to focus on the endpoints of distributed control systems, and KICS for Networks aimed at overseeing automation system network security. Its robust XDR capabilities allow users to manage the KICS installation database from a single console, resulting in scalable OT Security Operations.
The new release comes with a slew of astonishing features. Ensuring a comprehensive view of both IT and OT assets, it now permits deeper integration of KICS components and advanced XDR capabilities. Furthermore, an improved Network Traffic Analysis (NTA) system employs a range of techniques to detect attacks. This includes behavioral analysis, detection rules, indicators of compromise, and protocol inspection. Companies can now collect telemetry, respond to threats from the same place, and implement Threat Intelligence Portals for an event enrichment process.
