Miri Technologies Boosts Reliable Internet with Powerful New Upgrades

Miri Technologies unveils miriOS and X510 upgrades for stronger, more reliable internet.

Miri Technologies is making waves at this year’s NAB Show New York with the unveiling of its new miriOS software platform and significant upgrades to its flagship X510 bonding router. These launches promise to boost reliable internet connectivity for a range of users, from businesses to on-the-go consumers.

Miri Technologies Unveils miriOS Platform for Reliable Connectivity

The new miriOS platform is designed to deliver resilient internet by combining different connections, such as Wi-Fi, 4G, 5G, and Starlink. By leveraging Speedify bonding technology, this platform helps users combat network disruptions and maintain strong connection speeds. Built on the OpenWrt framework, miriOS supports Miri’s own hardware and select third-party routers. Notably, it is now available for GL.iNet Beryl AX travel routers, bringing fault-tolerant connectivity to more portable devices.

Upgrades to X510 Bonding Router Enhance Network Resilience

The flagship X510 dual-cellular bonding router is set to receive substantial firmware upgrades. These include new operating modes like Load Balancing and improved performance thanks to the Performance-Enhancing Proxy (PEP). With these updates, users can bond up to seven direct connections and link data from up to 20 mobile devices. The X510 can now provide uninterrupted bandwidth and instant failover, perfect for mission-critical environments. Additional tools enhance stream stability and access management, making it easier to tackle network jitter and unblock certain websites.

Beta Testing and Availability: How to Access miriOS and New Features

Miri Technologies is kicking off beta testing for miriOS, targeting both Miri X510 and GL.iNet Beryl AX users. Those interested can apply online and participate using a Speedify router license. New testers with the Beryl AX router will receive a free 90-day license, after which a subscription is required. Miri X510 owners can use their current Speedify subscription with the new miriOS. Meanwhile, many miriOS features will reach the X510 platform earlier via a firmware update, ahead of the software’s full release next year.

With the new miriOS platform and enhanced X510 router, Miri Technologies is expanding reliable internet access for professionals and consumers alike. These innovations promise stronger connections, greater flexibility, and improved user experiences across diverse environments.
