US Signal is nearing the completion of significant upgrades to its Indianapolis North Data Center. These improvements aim to enhance digital infrastructure, reflecting the company’s commitment to providing reliable and secure cloud services.
Significant Upgrades Enhance Data Center Capabilities
The latest upgrades to the Indianapolis North Data Center are almost complete. Located at 6325 Morenci Trail, this data center is US Signal’s third facility in Indiana. The renovations, assisted by Etzel Engineer and Build, Inc., are set to finish by August. According to John White, COO of US Signal, the upgrades address the strong market demand, with customers already pre-buying space.
New Features and High Security Standards Implemented
The upgraded data center meets Uptime’s Tier III standards, ensuring high availability and robust security. It includes storm and emergency response plans and sophisticated recovery strategies. The 9,600-square-foot facility features:
- 300 available cabinets
- 24/7 staffing and multi-level security
- 10-12 new employees
- Over 6 miles of new fiber construction impacting 500+ enterprise locations
The facility is SSAE 18-audited, HIPAA-compliant, and PCI-certified. These measures make it an excellent choice for disaster recovery or hybrid IT strategies.
Open House Event to Showcase Upgrades and Services
To celebrate the completion, US Signal will host an open house event on July 11. The event will run from 12-4 PM EDT at the Indianapolis North Data Center. Local businesses are invited to join for guided tours, remarks from the executive team, and exclusive giveaways.
In conclusion, US Signal’s upgraded Indianapolis North Data Center boosts its infrastructure capabilities. With enhanced security, new features, and an open house event, the company reinforces its role as a leader in digital infrastructure.
