Zetrix AI Unveils Groundbreaking Shariah-Aligned NurAI Model

The global Islamic economy is rapidly expanding, but so far, artificial intelligence has struggled to meet its unique needs. Zetrix AI—formerly known as MY E.G. Services Berhad—has now unveiled NurAI, the world’s first Shariah-aligned large language model. This innovation directly targets the two billion Muslims worldwide, offering a digital solution guided by Islamic values and ethics.

Zetrix AI Launches NurAI: A Shariah-Aligned Language Model

The launch of NurAI took place at the Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur during the ASEAN AI Malaysia Summit 2025. As the first of its kind, NurAI is inspired by Islamic principles and reflects the perspectives of the Global South. Unlike mainstream Western or Chinese AI models, NurAI provides answers in line with Shariah rulings. It covers a range of subjects—from modern law and healthcare to classical Islamic philosophy and Quranic studies.

Unique Features and Expert Partnerships Set NurAI Apart

What truly distinguishes NurAI are its AI Avatar channels. Users can interact with avatars modeled after leading experts, each channel offering specialized guidance and unique teaching philosophies. For example, future channels will feature Islamic finance advice in partnership with INCEIF University and perspectives from top Islamic scholars. NurAI is now available in Malay, Indonesian, Arabic, and English, catering to a diverse international audience. Developed with oversight from a formal Shariah Supervisory Board, the platform ensures reliable and trustworthy advice rooted in Islamic ethics.

Addressing Global Gaps in Islamic AI and Strategic Rollout

Current AI solutions often fall short in representing Islamic perspectives and cultural priorities. NurAI addresses this gap by providing two billion Muslims with a tool that respects their religious principles. The rollout starts in Malaysia and Indonesia with a freemium B2C app. Premium features, like inheritance calculators and bioethics guidance, will soon follow. In the next phase, Zetrix AI plans to integrate NurAI into institutions such as Islamic banks, fintech companies, and halal certification bodies.

NurAI signals a major step forward in values-based AI, strengthening Malaysia’s leadership in ethical technology innovation. With continued investment and support from religious institutions, Zetrix AI is shaping a future where digital solutions seamlessly align with Islamic values and serve global Muslim communities everywhere.
