Korea – Indoor/outdoor safety glasses for eye protection!

The Korea Eyeglasses Cooperative Association launched functional safety glasses for eyes health of the consumers. The Korea Eyeglasses Cooperative Association is a cooperative association where glasses lens manufacturers and related companies started in 2020. It’s consists of companies that can manufacture and coat glasses lens, and also have capability to export and sell online.

All the products that were presented by the Korea Eyeglasses Cooperative Association is based on the lenses of their members of association. And they are safety glasses with premium glasses lens with more than 30 years of experience of manufacturing. 

Recently, lots of consumers have interest on safety glasses, because of the effects of near-infrared and blue light on eyes. In order to respond this, the Korea Eyeglasses Cooperative Association launched safety glasses to fulfill consumer’s needs.

The 2 newly introduced models are indoor safety glasses, ‘OVIUS SAFETY-I’, and outdoor safety glasses, ‘OVIUS SAFETY-O (Discoloration, discoloration + polarization)’.

These two products have near-infrared ray and blue light blocking function as base, and discoloration and polarization can also be added for outdoor purposes. Consumer can choose from following three types of lenses, indoor base type(blue light blocking + near-infrared ray), outdoor type(blue light blocking + near-infrared ray + polarization), and outdoor type(blue light blocking + near-infrared ray + discoloration + polarization).

Meanwhile, the Korea Eyeglasses Cooperative Association will start Wadiz funding(planned) in April, in order to provide products with reasonable price.
