ZTE Leaps Ahead in Green Initiatives with Zero Emission Goals

Approving ZTE’s targets, SBTi acknowledges the company’s plan of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050 and its response to prevailing international decarbonization trends.

Aligning with the 1.5°C temperature rise limitation pathway, ZTE’s science-based targets have received official recognition, making them the first large-scale ICT tech company in China to secure a place on the CDP A List. Green and Low-Carbon Approach in ZTE’s Operations

Year-on-year, ZTE has accomplished significant results in its sustainable development journey. In 2023, the company reported a 9.7% decrease in overall carbon emissions, and a 3.0% decrease in operation carbon emissions. Over the past two years, operation carbon emissions further decreased by 15.6%, showcasing the impact of ZTE’s green initiatives.
