The ceremony saw collaborations between key industry players including the World Broadband Association (WBBA), IPv6 Forum, and leading device vendors, along with participation from over ten global carriers. Spearheaded by these associations, the program seeks to foster a robust ecosystem ready for the forthcoming technological evolutions. Martin Creaner, the Director General of the WBBA, emphasized how the program will classify pioneers into three segments: thought, city, and commercial pioneers, each playing a crucial role in the industry’s advancement.

Objectives and Impact of the Net5.5G Initiative

The core mission of the Net5.5G Pioneer Program is to accelerate the adoption and functional deployment of Net5.5G technology worldwide. This initiative will support the development of a more structured, scalable, and efficient network architecture.
