Jeonbuk Techno Park will hold an “Untact Overseas Buyers Meeting”. The company’s Director is Yang Kyun-ui. The company will hold the conference with related buyers situated in Europe and the Americas. It will be on September 8th and September 9th to 10th. Thus, the event will follow the Chinese companies in Gunsan Free Trade Area on July 22nd.
Why is Jeonbuk Techno Park hosting an online conference?
The company made special considerations seeing the difficulty of entering overseas buyers due to the prolonged Covid19. Hence, they planned to hold the conference as well as promote it via online mediums.
As a result, the company conducted 15 export consultations. They were between 10 leading buyers in China and 3 companies in Gunsan Free Trade Area, Samyang Hwa In Technology, and Hanil Heater. The one-on-one consultations happened on July 22. To do so, the help and support of professional interpreters were taken through a video platform such as Zoom and WeChat. The items were carried out with Samyanghwain Technology’s ion exchange resin, Essentech’s air conditioning valves, piping valves, gas valves, and electric heaters, resulting in $21.3 million in export consultation and $640,000 in contract promotion.
Future plans
Jeonbuk Techno Park plans to hold additional online export consultations for Europe and the Americas for three days from Sept. 8-10. Furthermore, four other companies will participate including Essentech. These are located in free trade areas such as automotive parts, valves, and ion exchange resins.
Jeonbuk TP plans to find export-promising products for each country. The plan is to improve the export competitiveness of small and medium-sized companies that cannot participate in overseas exhibitions and fairs. Yang Kyun said, “We will continue to make efforts to develop overseas markets in post-Covid19.”
That is true, Jeonbuk Techno Park was able to make special considerations seeing the difficulty of entering overseas buyers due to the prolonged Covid19, so they host an online conference a few days after.
