EXCO will hold the 2021 International Green Energy Conference from April 28 to 30
To share global solar market strategies and hydrogen fuel cell trends with Korean and foreign solar and hydrogen experts participating. This conference will be divided into PV Market Insights 2021 (PVMI) for two days on April 28 and 29 and H2M Hydrogen Market Insight on April 30, held as online and offline hybrid conference.
PVMI, held under the theme of “Global Solar Market Strategy for the Carbon Neutral Era,” is a specialized conference that presents market analysis and prospects of Korea’s major solar power sector in Korea. The latest information will be presented in 10 sessions in global solar power market, photovoltaic policy and investment, agricultural solar power, floating solar market and technology trends.
Fifteen experts in major solar power fields from nine countries.
Including the US, Germany, Japan, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Morocco, will participate online. From Korea, 30 experts from new and renewable energy institutes like KIER and KETEP and Hanwha Q Cells, Shinsung ENG and Isolar Energy will make presentations at offline venues as invited speakers. Especially on April 28, Paul J. Saunders (President) from Energy Innovation Reform Project known as the think tank in the US government’s new and renewable energy sector will participate in the special session to introduce strategies to enter the US market.
Hydrogen Market Insight (H2MI), which will open up a new horizon of the energy economy, will be held on April 30 as an on-offline hybrid session to introduce global hydrogen market trends and prospects, and the hydrogen economy policies and industries in Korea and overseas. This event was prepared to understand the overall trend of hydrogen economy, which has raised interest from the government’s declaration of carbon neutrality by 2050, and is co-hosted by Yeungnam University Hydrogen Industry Convergence Human Resources Development Project Group, KOSEE, and EXCO.
In the morning, a keynote speech on Global Hydrogen Market Trends and Prospects will be presented at Bloomberg NEF, and a panel will be invited to focus on the global hydrogen market. Also in the afternoon session, foreign speakers from ‣ University of Tokyo (Japan) ‣University of Melbourne (Australia) ‣Halle University (Germany), and Korean speakers from ‣KEEI ‣Pohang Technopark ‣Hyundai Motor Company will have a heated discussion on the ecosystem of hydrogen energy market in their own perspectives.
